For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

Snowed in a beautiful resort with your crush. What more could a girl ask for? Unforunatley, Sydney didn't feel this way. After secretly being in love with her best friend Kyler for years and watching him screw any girl but her has made life rough for Sydney. When she gets trapped at his family's vacation cabin with him, she thinks the worst. An girl he used to fool around with is there and everything seems sour. She does meet a cute instructor, but her mind stays with Kyler. Will being snowed in help Kyler look at Syd any differently? Though they might not have too much time to linger, because someone might just be looking to cause them harm while they are vulnerable.

Like most of anything Jennifer L. Armentrout writes, I loved Frigid. The best friends to lovers cliche that has been done into the ground, but she puts a fresh spin on it. It doesn't feel like you have read this a thousand times before. The characters developed nicely throughout the story, each having their own growth. It is hot where it needs to be hot and freezing where it needs to be cold.

I didn't really have any issues with this book. I didn't care for the interactions with the sky instructor, but that was needs for the story, so it couldn't even be taken out. I know I have said this with some of the other reviews I did on her books, it is choppy at times and drags on during some scenes that could have been shorter. I won't go into those due to spoilers.

I am giving this book a 4 out of 5 stars. This is for anyone looking to get into New Adult, maybe they haven't read one before, or someone that already loves the genre and is looking for something fun and fast.
