Stacking the Shelves

weekly meme hosted over at Tynga's Reviews.

So I did end up getting quite a few books this week. The total was 11 books that I bought myself and 1 book I received for review.

Books I Bought:

The first four are the four I got when I ran into the mother and the dicussion about the not finishing thing, so they are first in a series. I don't plan on starting any of them until I finish some of the series I have up. I didn't know the Nightmare Affair was a series, until just now when I looked it up. I thought it was a standalone. So a bit disappointed with that. And Glow was only 99 cents, and I couldn't pass that up. But the others are squeals to series I am trying to finish up. Except for Let it snow. I saw that one at Walmart and had to have it for the Christmas Season!

  1. Oh wow! Where to begin on the awesomeness?! Loooooooooooved Origin, Endless Knight, The Liberator, and Girl of Nightmares! I'm close to starting Legend myself and Ruby Red has been in my TBR Mountain of Doom since its release when I won a copy from another blog! Wow...it's been a long time! LOL! Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. Awesome books. The Lu books are favorites of mine. Haven't seen that cover for Let it Snow. I loved that book -- it got ripped off from my library so I need to replace it! Enjoy! Here’s my STS..

  3. I've been wanting to read Legend for a long time. I read Let It Snow several years ago. Some of the stories are better than other, but I liked it overall.

    1. I had actually thought Let It Snow was a new John Green book. I got really excited when I saw that he teamed up with Maureen Johnson. I didn't know it was a book of different stories. Was a bit disappointed. I am the same way with Legend. I just always find someone I want to read more. Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Great picks! Witch and Wizard is one of my favorites of James Patterson and I would recommend it. Legend is on my TBR so you definitely motivated me to get to it! I hope you enjoy your reads:)

  7. I own Legend and Glow (couldn't get into Glow, but I didn't really give it a chance) and I traded Legend a while ago, still haven't gotten to it yet though. Hoping to soon. :) Happy reading!

    1. The Nightmare affair isn't. It is a story about a girl at a school for special creatures and she is a nightmare. The only one of her kind.
