Feature and Follow Friday

Question of the Week: What books would you give to newbies in your favorite genre?

Okay, so this is a really hard question. There are SO many books and SO many genres. So I am not picking just one.

YA Contemp - Anything Sarah Dessen. This got me through my high school years. Love her.

YA Fantasy - Ender's Game. I have only read book one, but it was amazing. It will pull you ring in.

NA Fiction. Foreplay by Sophie Jordan or Easy by Tammara Webber. Both great books to get into the genre with.

  1. OOh nice picks! I read some Sarah Dessen in my middle school and possibly high school days. It filled the void when I couldn't find my paranormal books! (a time I refer to as the Dark Days! LOL)

    1. They are all really good. I have read almost all of them, with the expection of her newest. I usually tend to read them toward the summer. Just Listen is my all time favorite of hers, if you are looking for a way to start on the author.

  3. I loved Ender's Game as well. My son read all of the books and he said that the other books are much different from the first. Have a great weekend.

    1. I keep hearing that the other books are different and I think that is why I haven't picked them up yet. A friend of my read the second and really didn't like it. He said it wasn't even the same story. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend!

  4. Definitely went through a phase where I read nothing but Sarah Dessen. No regrets! Except, I really did not like her latest book at all! What did you think? New bloglovin' follower!

    1. I haven't read her latest book yet. It is the only one I haven't read. It is sitting on my shelf. I have been meaning to pick it up, I just haven't yet. I have seen several reviews saying it isn't as good, so I guess I am putting it off to avoid disappointment. Thanks for stopping by!
